Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or birth date entered in a search tool is sent to the outside company that operates that tool. That company processes the request and supplies its results. We do not retain or record those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, we retain the message as needed to respond. It is not disclosed outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers may record ordinary technical information when a page loads, including an IP address, browser and version, device and operating system, visited pages and time spent, referring site, and page-view timestamps.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that help measure traffic, popular pages, and where visits end. Analytics providers may combine this information into usage statistics. Browser controls can block cookies, though doing so may change how some functions work.
What We Do With This Data
Collected information may be used to operate and speed up the service, route a query to the appropriate partner, assess which material is useful, diagnose technical faults, and display interest-based advertising.
No Warrant Data on File
We do not host, assemble, maintain, or sell a warrant database or personal warrant files. The material identifies official routes such as the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's publication, Vanderburgh Circuit and Superior Courts, the Vanderburgh County Clerk, and Indiana MyCase. We are not a consumer reporting agency, and visitor information is not compiled into reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Data submitted there is controlled by that provider's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices rather than this policy. Review those terms before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Sheriff, courts, Indiana case-access resources, legal services, or outside search providers. Once you leave, the destination's privacy terms apply. Read them before supplying personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to observe activity across websites and select ads.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Search providers receive queries submitted to their tools; analytics vendors may receive usage data; advertising networks may receive data needed to place ads; and a government or law-enforcement body may receive information when valid legal process requires disclosure.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, commonly used safeguards protect collected information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so we cannot promise that unauthorized access or a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that a minor supplied such information, we will remove it promptly.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Indiana privacy and consumer-protection law may provide rights concerning personal data. Indiana's Access to Public Records Act, Indiana Code 5-14-3, separately governs access to qualifying government records and does not convert this private service into a public agency. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or an opt-out from certain processing.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised. A revision becomes available here with a new effective date, so users should review the current version when privacy practices matter.
